New Year new Blogger

I cannot believe how fast 2012 flew by! Paul and I had a great 2012, we celebrate our one year marriage anniversary, bought a new car (Forester Subaru that we call Sammy),

put together a nice condo (aka replaced college furniture with nicer new furniture), went on a cruise to the Bahamas,  met some amazing friends and have found our home Church ( Hibben UMC in Mount Pleasant). I also feel very blessed that God has given Paul and I big girl/ boy jobs. I am working at Charleston Physical Therapy in our West Ashley office and on Monday and Wednesday afternoon I work at our Boeing clinic (which is at the Boeing plant). Paul is working for The Blood Alliance, were he sets up and maintains blood drives. All the blood they collect from these blood drives goes to East Cooper Medical in Mount Pleasant. Right now he is working from home since he is the only person in Charleston that works for the TBA and I am pretty sure he loves my random texts of "I forgot to put dinner in the crock pot, will you do it?" On a whole, God blessed us with an awesome 2012 year.

A few weeks ago Paul and I start talking about what our New Year Resolutions were going to be or if we were even going to make one. I start thinking about all the things I wanted to do but haven't. So I have a few New Year resolutions...
  1. I want to run the Rock and Roll Marathon in Savannah, GA on November 9th. I have few races lined up to run this coming year to help me reach this goal. My fist race is the Roast and Run  5K trail run on February 23rd and my second is the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k on April 6th. Any prayers for these runs are welcome :-D
  2. Paul and I are hoping to buy a house sometime this summer!! We have been saving, saving and more saving to buy a house.
  3. I would like to buy my own sewing machine and learn how to make curtains, pillows and other things
  4. Though we have great friends already, we would like to meet more people. So we have joined the Charleston Boccie League and are thinking about joining the Kick Ball League as well.
  5.  Try new receipts at lest once a week.
  6. Get more involved in our Church.
  7. Start a blog. I have always thought about having my own blog but I think I am too boring to have a blog. Now that I have few things I can blog about, I am blogging :-D
I am sure I have more things I want to do but this is my starting point. I am very happy about what God has in store for us this year. From our little condo in Charleston, we wish you and your family a Happy Happy Happy New Year!
